This block was purchased as a crated from a GM High Performance Chevy Dealership (New) by a super modified racer, he raced super modified cars in Ohio and New York.
Then they out-lawed this block and motor for the super modified racers.
They deemed it to expensive and unfair to the other racers.
So, the owner sold the block and motor parts.
This was never installed in a 1969 Camero.
It was instead put up in a Speed Shop Showcase for 40
Years.
