Sales Manager - Performance Tapes

Job Description The Regional Sales Manager, North America reports to the Sales Director in Avery Dennison's Industrial and Healthcare Materials - North America business. We are you looking for you to lead a team of Territory Account Managers (TAMs) across the Performance Tapes business to deliver profitable growth goals and objectives. These customers supply to a broad range of segments including Automotive, General Retail and General Industrial. You will be responsible for attaining plan objectives for your assigned area by translating marketing plans and strategies into effective operational tactics to be carried out with the team. You will play a key sales leadership role in mentoring TAM's through strategic alliance planning with customers with a high focus on high value segment growth. What we are looking for Team Leadership Coordinate team efforts, craft and drive a team strategy, individual alliance (JBP) plans, and operating plan. Responsible for achieving optimum national sales consistent with budgeted profit and selling expenses of his/her team. Train and provide development opportunities for staff, ensure GPS goals are reviewed regularly and ongoing feedback is provided. Model and promote the Corporation's Code of Business Ethics and Values. Excellence in Execution Develop sales plans and budgets for achieving sales goals in conjunction with cross-functional support team. Develop and implement local, national or strategic sales strategies for customers, channels, and/or large geographic areas. Call on customers to cultivate relationships and find opportunities to increase sales, share, and profitability. Tie specific customer needs and outcomes to customized supply agreements and customer insightful initiatives. Lead and support critical commercial, sales excellence initiatives and infrastructure (MWI, SF.com, Sales Meetings, etc). Long-term Strategy Development Assist Sales Director with the development and implementation of long-term Sales strategies that are geared toward developing greater market share and profitability. Work with marketing teams to formulate strategy and select key target markets including general industrial, automotive, building and construction. Identify prospective customers. Identify unmet customer needs. Work to identify products and processes needed to meet those needs. Establish customer specific pricing programs and strategies. Define the value proposition to the market, customers and industry including service, price and product platform strategies. Develop, standardize, and execute appropriate business plans/multi-generation product plans to identify trends, opportunities for marketplace advantage, and new ideas for products, processes and services. Lead bench-marking of Sales-related topics in support of area's goals and establish effective processes for territory and rep performance. Review and position customer product needs information regarding product quality, product applications, and consultative services. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degreerequired, MBA preferred. Experience: 5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience. 3+ years Sales Management experiencepreferred. Skills Competencies: Elite negotiation, financial, mathematical, and business insight skills needed. Skilled in effectively mentoring, teaching and developing solid sales and negotiation skills within the sales team. Skilled in customer needs assessment and developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts. Skilled in communicating effectively with customers and all levels of management on complex business issues. Excellent sales principled negotiation skills. Deep understanding of product and technical information. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Excellent customer relations skills. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills. Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google, and function specific software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
