PRIMARY:
Reviews rough sketches and engineering specifications received from engineer.
Creates preliminary of final sketch of proposed drawing, using standard drafting techniques and devices or using computer-assisted design drafting equipment.
Modifies drawings as directed by engineer.
Drafts multiple-view assembly, subassembly, and layout drawings as required for manufacture and repair of machines and equipment.
Oversees engineering process control. Writing and maintaining engineering procedures and the engineering manual.
Oversees ECN implementation, working with members of engineering department to create a plan for documentations of new and existing projects and ensuring that the project documentation plan is being implemented and adjusted as needed.
Maintains engineering BAAN responsibilities. Bills/parts are entered and revised.
Functions as CAD Administrator, ensuring all software needs are being met and addressing issues as needed. Maintenance of vaulted and un-vaulted data, revision schemes, lifecycles, and software updates and improvements is required.
Works with drafter(s) to provide support and oversees drafting projects, ensuring accuracy and design intent, tolerance scheme, vendor readiness, and part duplication.
SECONDARY:
Designs and drafts original auxiliary equipment to improve new and existing machine designs. Creates assembly drawings, subassembly drawings, and component drawings, makes design changes, evaluates product documentation before product release, performs testing, checks cost effectiveness and quality, and participate in review meetings.
Calculates and lays out dimensions angles, curvature, materials to be used, relationship of one part to another, and relationship of various parts, utilizing knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics,, materials, technology, and related physical sciences.
Typically two years of postsecondary training in drafting are required, as well as having well-developed drafting and mechanical drawing skills and knowledge of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment and software.


Qualifications
Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

AutoCad
Able to delegate work
EPDM (solidworks) experience a plus
BAAN experience a plus
Associate of the American Society of Mechanical EngineersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
