Summary: Requires strong technical and analytical background coupled with good communication skills and an understanding of the electronic manufacturing process. Focus on creating and maintaining quality system policies, procedures, quality control process sampling systems, and statistical techniques.

Requirements:
Familiarity and comprehension of basic specifications and standards, i.e., ISO, ANSI, ASME, AS9100, AS9102, ASXXX CFRXXXX etc.
General understanding of GD&T
Excellent communication skills
Minimum of 10 years aerospace quality assurance experience.
Job Duties/Description:
Configuration management disciplines, tools, and practices to ensure that products and services meet engineering requirements.
Perform closed-loop corrective action and root cause analysis.
Assemble and review of end-item data packages for submittal to customers.
Ensure compliance of certifications.
Customer and supplier quality and engineering liaison
Responsible for product and data presentation for final customer acceptance.
Review quality requirements of contracts, PO's, and amendments to awarded contracts.
Responsible for the initial quality and manufacturing planning review.
Resolve non-conforming material issues.
Technical writing skills that include quality procedures and test plans.
Performs product, process, and system audits and verifies effectiveness or corrective actions that were taken.
Represents quality assurance on new product start-up teams. Identifies any unique customer requirements for workmanship or traceability.

I. Education/Experience/Credentials: Associates Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Engineering. 10 plus years' experience. ASQ certifications a plus. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
