ACCOUNT PAYABLE & RECEIVABLE CLERKWe are looking for an accounts payable accounts receivable clerk who will be responsible for handling our company's bills and managing our accounts payable ledger.
You will be tasked with receiving, opening, and logging invoices on the ledger, as well as other duties like bank reconciliation, accounts payable invoice and data entry, and expense report handling.
In order for you to be successful in this role, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly in Word and Excel.
An ideal candidate must have a good understanding of payments, the accounting process, and budgeting.
You must also be capable of handling supervisory tasks when necessary.
Responsibilities:
Managing general ledger journal entries and credit card and bank account reconciliation.
Preparing accounts payable invoices.
Handling payments in an organized and timely manner.
Preparing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets.
Performing internal credit card reconciliation when required.
Preparing sales and use tax returns.
Ensuring imaging of invoice supporting documents is timely and accurately performed.
Assisting with audit support as necessary.
Assisting in streamlining the accounts payable process.
Working with account receivable clerks and others to resolve account issues when necessary.
Handling expense reports.
Requirements:
3 - 5 years in accounting or related field.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel.
Understanding of payments, accounting, and budgeting.

PPS-HPS.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
