, OH 44077 Position Description:
Under direction of the Chief of Outdoor Education, the Administrative Assistant manages various administrative support functions for the department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Inputs data into registration software (RecTrac) for department programs and rentals.
Prepares various department correspondences, articles, and brochures.
Answers phones and greets visitor at the front desk at the Environmental Learning Center.
Manages and maintains records on various types of media:
hard copy files, computer files, etc.
Manages departmental requisitions and orders.
Maintains park information calendar.
Compiles program usage and revenue reports.
Manages petty cash and deposits.
Assists with special events, including, but not limited to, purchasing supplies, managing email communications, scheduling vendors, and organizing registrations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
1-2 years prior experience in administrative services is preferred.
Position Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate business activities, prioritizing projects and daily schedules.
Skilled in customer service and interpersonal communication with the ability to interact professionally with all types of people.
Skilled in communication, including written, oral, and listening.
Basic knowledge of general business and administrative procedures.
Ability to operate various types of office equipment.
Proficiency in computer software programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
May be occasionally required to work flexible hours, weekends, evenings and holidays.
Must possess a valid drivers' license and insurable on the Agency's liability policy.
Background check required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
