Summary The Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis will be responsible for managing and coordinating corporate and business related planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis activities.
This individual will partner closely with internal stakeholders to drive business insights, bring a quantitative, data-driven mindset, and will be able to build strong cross functional relationships.
In this role, the successful candidate will strive for continuous improvement in financial analysis tools, reporting, controls, and ensure all deadlines are met.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Forecasting and PlanningBuild and manage the development of near and long-range business forecasts of the full financial statement to assist the business with strategic decision making Manage the annual budgeting process through target setting and review of business unit inputs and key assumptions Review budget and forecasts to ensure reasonability and consistency with overall financial objectives Increase utilization of data tools and processes to facilitate improved business planning and accuracy Drive Analytical Insights for Business PartnerDeliver insightful analytics to provide insights into the business and macro trends to assist Leadership in their decision-making through the use of key financial reports, including pricing and volume, expense analysis, and detailed product customer profitability Integral part of monthly reporting and MOR's that help define the success of the organization Identify data driven trends and anomalies and make recommendations to enhance areas of profitability Influence and Lead Key Business DecisionsCollaborate with individuals across the global organization to ensure effective and accurate financial reporting processes and internal controls Work across the organization to standardize and improve efficiency of Ranpak's forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure effective and timely decisions Manage and Drive Process Efficiency Deliver continuous improvements in the budget, forecast, and monthly reporting process to drive simplification and overall reduction in the planning process cycle time Utilize knowledge of processes and systems to advise cross-functional teams on appropriate data sources for analysis Responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions comply with internal control policies and practices by establishing proper controls and conducting periodic audits of analysis practices and procedures Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned or directed.
The ideal candidate for this role will work independently with minimal supervision Qualifications Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field Minimum 7 years of progressive corporate finance experience, within a publicly traded company Thorough knowledge of accounting theories, practices, regulations, and financial concepts relative to profitability and financial ratios Business Application and ERP proficiency in Hyperion Financial Management/Planning/Essbase, Power BI, and SAP Advanced financial modeling and strong analytical skills Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze and transform data into information Well organized, methodical thinker with the capability to handle competing priorities and make decisions under pressure while delivering accurate, on time, high quality work A great teammate with a customer focus Proficiency in Microsoft office applications (e.
